SAP Lead Information Architect

  • Coordinates the work of data, data quality, ETL, data security, and DW architects
  • Oversees design of data and technical architectures for the data warehouse
  • Oversees the development of logical and physical data models, ETL scripts, metadata definitions and models
  • Oversees production data integration and ETL processes, batch schedules, work processes, and maintenance procedures
  • Ensures proper backup and recovery processes
  • Supervises selection of hardware, storage, and software products related to data solutions

SAP Visualization Architect

  • Rapidly prototypes scorecards, dashboards, and reports in support of specific business requirements
  • Quickly recognizes business processes and use cases, providing recommendations and feedback regarding optimal visualization techniques to maximize user adoption and business value
  • Assists in the definition of standardized look-and-feel attributes associated with EPM presentations
  • Ensures that usability standards and best practices are adhered to for common use cases and solutions
  • Work directly with EPM Strategist and business users to develop prototypical dashboards or scorecards in real-time during EPM strategy workshops and other working sessions
  • Interpret KPI use cases and drill paths for proper visualization and guided analytic processes
  • Advise EPM Strategist and business users on best practices related to visualization and UI design
  • Select and leverage the appropriate visualization platforms and tools to meet specific UI and workflow requirements

SAP Technical Architect

  • Defines and documents the technical architecture of the BI platform and data warehouse platform, including the physical components and their functionality
  • Evaluates, selects, tests, and assists in the optimization of hardware and software products
  • Resolves technical, functional, and performance related issues throughout the SDLC
  • Assesses current technical architecture
  • Estimates system capacity to meet near- and long-term processing requirements
  • Writes specifications for client machines, application servers, and overall BI architecture
  • Oversee the BI landscape for BI application servers, database servers, security, and networking

SAP Solution Architect

  • Works with end users and business analysts to ensure alignment between BI/DW environment and business requirements
  • Leverages appropriate BI/DW platform and tools to design end-to-end solution
  • Defines BI architectural standards and components in support of multiple BI solutions
  • Identifies high-level requirements for technical and functional end-user training and documentation
  • Develop overall BI solution framework for end-to-end BI projects, in accordance with Client BI standards
  • Works with Technical Architect to ensure technical components are functioning as expected
  • Troubleshoots BI/DW tool problems and assists in performance tuning
  • Scoping and high-level design of multidimensional semantic layer to support end-user BI/DW query and analysis reporting objects
  • Identifies best-fit for report content types to business solution requirements
  • Helps business users select the appropriate BI/DW tool(s)
  • Translation of business analytic questions and requirements into solution design components and functional specifications
  • Knowledge of BI/DW tool, DW, and ETL architectures, functions, and features
  • Understanding of SQL and relational and multidimensional designs
  • Strong problem-solving and metadata skills
  • Understand appropriate customization of BI/DW tools for meeting user needs
  • Strong Communication: Written and Verbal – Approach, Issues, Task Management, Functional and Technical Requirements Documentation, Presenting of ideas

SAP Data Architect/Analyst

  • Maintains a thorough understanding of relevant business data assets including sources systems and data warehouse models
  • Performs analytic processes to determine the availability of required data assets in support of BI and EPM initiatives
  • Translates business use cases as necessary to construct required data components. Supports EPM Strategist in the decomposition of KPIs and Metrics
  • Work with business users to insure viability of proposed solutions from a data warehouse and data availability perspective
  • Investigates source and data warehouse repositories in support of general BI/DW requirements
  • Resolves business user related issues and problems that arise during deployment and beyond
  • Tracks and discusses data related issues, options, and solutions with management and business users
  • Ensures new source data requirements are captured and stored in a metadata repository
  • Strong Communication: written and verbal (i.e. issues reporting, status reporting, solution documentation and presentations)
